Childhood series

I remember that during my earliest childhood I grew up watching Barney and the Teletubbies, I loved to repeat the chapters over and over in the vhs.
When I turned five I had a radical change, I met the TV serie Machos. If I could not see a chapter from the beginning, I burst into tears and made a great scandal, I did'nt even missed the commercials.
Then in terms of Chilean TV series came Brujas, Papi Ricky and Don Amor, but none of them was better than Machos.
I also saw series of Chilean cartoons like Pulentos, Diego y Glot or Villa Dulce, although my favorites, I must admit, were the Americans like Codename kids next door, The Wild Thornberrys and Rocket Power.
But my favourite serie, by far over the others, is Amango.Because of this serie I learned about the real value of friendship and believing in my dreams.

  7. Woo Rocket Power was (with Lazy Town) one of the reasons to dye my hair; skate and roll not because I'm so clumsy.

Evaluation of blog experience

The experience of blogging in an english class has been a personal challenge. I had never have a blog, neither in Spanish nor in English so I had to learn from the beginning how it works. Firstly it was difficult to write again in english because it was a full last year without learning or practicing anything about english. Lately the rules of grammar and how to pronounce the words it was the most difficult for me. So, when I started to write blogs I was afraid about don't writing them correctly but it was easier when I knew I can write about topics that interest me. It has made it easier for me to write the correct words. That is why my writing skills have developed in part, although I feel they could be developed further during the next English course. In my future I would like to write in English about different topics of my interest like music, series and something I love as cultural events.

Autobiography

My name is Michelle Garnica Morales, I was born on November twenty sixth of 1997 in San Bernardo of Chile. I am 19 years old, I live in a beautiful house in San Bernardo with my mother and my brother, I studied in the same school for twelve years “Colegio Inglés Isaac Newton”. I like animals because I have three dogs, three frogs and nine rabbits, I like to make crafts, I like to watch movies and series, I like to read and write and I like to practice swimming and pilates. I choose to study journalism in Universidad de Chile, at Christmas because I didn´t know what I really wanted to study and my parents didn´t let me take a year off. Anyway, I like my career and all the experiences and the people I have met.

Technology

My favorite technological device are the headphones. When I was a kid, my parents gave me an mp3 because I loved listening to songs from La Oreja de Van Gogh and Bacilos blaring while my younger brother slept. The first time I used them I felt that the music was only mine and nobody else, that for a moment the singers were only singing for me and from that minute. Every time I want to internalize my thoughts, I listen to music with headphones. They are my faithful companions during the journey from the university to my home. They are a complement in my life and in reality many of the thoughts and feelings that I have experienced throughout my life are linked in one way or another with the use of headphones.
