Childhood series

I remember that during my earliest childhood I grew up watching “Barney“ and the “Teletubbies“, I loved to repeat the chapters over and over in the vhs.
When I turned five I had a radical change, I met the TV serie “Machos“. If I could not see a chapter from the beginning, I burst into tears and made a great scandal, I did'nt even missed the commercials.
Then in terms of Chilean TV series came “Brujas“, “Papi Ricky“ and “Don Amor“,but none of them was better than Machos.
I also saw series of Chilean cartoons like “Pulentos“, “Diego y Glot“ or “Villa Dulce“, although my favorites, I must admit, were the Americans like “Codename kids next door“, “The Wild Thornberrys“ and “Rocket Power“.
But my favourite serie, by far over the others, is “Amango“.Because of this serie I learned about the real value of friendship and believing in my dreams.

I watched Amango a lot and even now some songs still playing in my mind (I want to fly and can find you, I want to sit in a star and scream to the world...)

A subject you've enjoyed studying this semester

My favorite subject during this year was "Television and education: the pedagogical role of the media" with one of my favorite teachers: Cristian Cabalin. In this course we learned to link communication and pedagogy, through the education delivered by the television programs that the audience watch. In our final work we analyzed the cartoon series "Diego and Glot" from the perspective of how this series influenced the education of children, adolescents and adults. The contents of the course were learning techniques for children, television programs of high audience and the role of television in the family. Although it was only 8 sessions, I loved all the learning I got, since this is the area in which I want to specialize as a journalist, educating people through the media. This work I did together with one of my best friends from the University, Andres and we had a lot of fun listening to the music of one of our favorite series, Amango....

A picture...

This photo was taken my graduation gala on  November 27 of 2015, in a very dizzy time of my life. I turned 18 the day before, also I had graduated from school, where I spent 12 years of my life and in two days more I had to give the PSU test, without knowing what to study. Despite of all this pressure, it was a wonderful night where I received all the love from the people that really matter to me, especially the two families that I have, I mean two families because I'm like a member of my best friend's family. On the photo, named from the left, are: my brother, my mom, my grandma, my dad, myself (dressed in calypso, my favorite color),my best friend, her brother, her sister, her mom and her dad.  Arelly or Arellita, as I prefer to call her, is more than my best friend. She's like the sister I always wanted to have, she's been the one who has supported me in the most difficult moments along my life. She always makes me laugh with her stupidities, we have infi...
